soutien \u00e0 des partis de droite radicale entra\u00eene souvent un rejet social. Mais qu\u2019en est-il vraiment sur le march\u00e9 des rencontres, alors que les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations se radicalisent de plus en plus politiquement ?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"999\">L\u2019id\u00e9e que mentionner son soutien \u00e0 l\u2019AfD ou \u00e0 l\u2019UDC sur des applis comme Tinder m\u00e8ne \u00e0 un d\u00e9savantage social est largement partag\u00e9e. Mais qu\u2019en est-il dans d\u2019autres contextes, comme pour les partisans de VOX en Espagne ou Reform UK au Royaume-Uni ? Derri\u00e8re un simple swipe de refus, se cache-t-il un rejet politique ou un simple d\u00e9saccord ? Et si cette stigmatisation n\u2019\u00e9tait pas aussi syst\u00e9matique qu\u2019on le croit ?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1317\">Les politologues Alberto Lopez Ortega et Stuart Turnbull-Dugarte ont enqu\u00eat\u00e9 sur cette question. Leurs r\u00e9sultats, \u00e0 para\u00eetre dans <em data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1156\">The Journal of Politics<\/em>, montrent une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 plus complexe : le march\u00e9 des rencontres r\u00e9agit aux pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences politiques de droite de mani\u00e8re bien plus nuanc\u00e9e que ce que l\u2019on imagine.<\/p>\n<h3>Le mythe des \u00e9lecteurs \u00ab infr\u00e9quentables \u00bb<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1789\">Contrairement aux id\u00e9es re\u00e7ues, les partisans de la droite radicale ne sont pas syst\u00e9matiquement rejet\u00e9s. Ils ont des chances de succ\u00e8s au moins \u00e9quivalentes aux autres, voire sup\u00e9rieures. Cela s\u2019explique par la polarisation croissante : les conservateurs pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent naturellement des partenaires qui partagent leurs opinions, tout comme les progressistes. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne a des implications fortes pour la d\u00e9mocratie lib\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1791\" data-end=\"2052\">Pour analyser cela, les chercheurs ont men\u00e9 une vaste exp\u00e9rience : plus de 2&rsquo;000 participants en Espagne et au Royaume-Uni ont \u00e9valu\u00e9 plus de 20&rsquo;000 profils fictifs, dont les attributs (apparence, profession, \u00e9ducation, int\u00e9r\u00eats, opinions politiques) variaient.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2054\" data-end=\"2083\">Des r\u00e9sultats surprenants<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2469\">Au Royaume-Uni, afficher un soutien \u00e0 Reform UK, le parti de Nigel Farage, n\u2019est pas un handicap, bien au contraire : ces profils sont mieux accueillis que ceux des conservateurs traditionnels. En Espagne, les \u00e9lecteurs de VOX sont surtout p\u00e9nalis\u00e9s par les personnes de gauche, tandis que les conservateurs du Partido Popular pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent clairement les partisans de VOX aux centristes.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2471\" data-end=\"2520\">La distance politique prime sur la radicalit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2522\" data-end=\"2800\">Ce qui importe avant tout, c\u2019est la distance id\u00e9ologique, pas la radicalit\u00e9. Comme le r\u00e9sument Ortega et Turnbull-Dugarte : \u00ab Mieux vaut \u00eatre radical et du bon c\u00f4t\u00e9 que mod\u00e9r\u00e9 et du mauvais \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2802\" data-end=\"3128\">Dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 polaris\u00e9e, ce clivage influence m\u00eame nos choix intimes. Pour beaucoup de conservateurs, les opinions de gauche sont un obstacle plus grand que les positions radicales \u00e0 droite. Cette dynamique contribue \u00e0 une normalisation progressive de la droite radicale, avec des cons\u00e9quences majeures sur la d\u00e9mocratie.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3130\" data-end=\"3163\">Une responsabilit\u00e9 collective<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3505\">Les chercheurs soulignent que le centre bourgeois porte une part de responsabilit\u00e9. Tol\u00e9rer ou coop\u00e9rer avec la droite radicale n\u2019est pas neutre : c\u2019est une menace pour les valeurs d\u00e9mocratiques. L\u2019argument selon lequel il vaut mieux \u00eatre proche des \u00ab extr\u00eames \u00bb de son camp que du centre adverse affaiblit le socle m\u00eame de toute d\u00e9mocratie lib\u00e9rale, comme ils l\u2019expliquent dans leur article publi\u00e9 sur le portail scientifique <em data-start=\"440\" data-end=\"449\">DeFacto<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><!-- close
